The first round of political consultations between Qatar and Colombia was held in Bogota, Colombia. The Qatari government was led by Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi, while the Colombian side was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Francisco J Coy G. Bilateral relations and ways to support and enhance them were reviewed during the consultations. The round was attended by Qatar's ambassador to Colombia Issa bin Jaber al-Kuwari, HE the Director of the American Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Almuhannad bin Ali al-hammadi and the accompanying delegation.
